UK
For more than 40 years, I have worked as a photographer documenting life within African and Caribbean communities in the UK and across the world. My practice has taken me to over 50 countries, shaping a visual journey grounded in culture, identity, and human connection.
I was one of the pioneering Black photographers from the 1980s who photographed and documented many of the important events happening in the Black community in the UK, at a time when only a few photographers had access to professional camera equipment.
